Q What can I buy with the "Future Card"?
A Just about anything! A comprehensive list of categories and services is provided upon joining.

Q Can anyone join?
A No. In order to join the product or service you offer must be deemed of general use to the other group members. However, part-time business may be eligible.

Q Does Global Trade guarantee the quality of members goods or services?
A Global Trade simply replaces cash payment with payment of goods or services. Just as a bank, who’s check you use, does not guarantee the quality of goods purchased, Global Trade does not guarantee customer satisfaction. However, we are constantly monitoring customer satisfaction levels and merchants who do not comply with our standards will be promptly dropped from the Global group.

Q Can I get products and services not shown on your list?
A It’s impossible to list every product or service. Always call before spending cash. You will frequently be pleasantly surprised.

Q How do I change an Item listing after I list it for Trade?
A Log in to TargetBarter and click the Your Current Items link on the left. Then click the magnifying glass icon next to the Item that you want to edit. Next, click the Edit link at the top. Make your changes and then click the Update button at the bottom of the page. The listing should now be updated.

Q Will there be more businesses like mine in Global Trade?
A Possibly. But we never accept more members in any particular category than our group can reasonably supply with business.

Q After I Join , are there any other cash Fees?
A Yes, there is a 10% cash service fee charged on all Trades. This Fee is Paid by the Buyer. Keep in mind that these Global Trade $$ that you are spending is coming from New Business that we have sent to you!

Q How do I keep track of my Global Trade Dollars?
A Global Trade does it for you. Your account activity is posted immediately, and you can view a statement detailing your trade activity. In addition, when you log on to the Global Trade web site, your current account balance will appear at the top of the screen.

Q Who sets a price for my goods or services?
A You do. Prices should always be set in accordance with current, fair market rates.

Q How do I know that what I want to buy is being offered at a fair price?
A Before trading, know what you would expect to pay. If you think the asking price is unfair, you can negotiate with the seller. If you think an item or service isn't being offered at a fair price, don't buy it. But remember it is always cheaper to Trade !

Q Tell me more about this line of trade credit.
A Once you list an item for trade, we want you to be able to trade immediately - even before you earn Global Trade Dollars. So when you list your Business as trading , you'll receive a credit line of Global Trade Dollars that you can use with no interest or finance charges. This means you'll immediately have access to goods and services. (Your credit line can be used only to purchase goods and services within the GlobalTradeGroupLtd.com inventory.)

Q Do I have to pay back the Credit Line?
A Yes. This line of credit is similar to an overdraft privilege on a regular bank checking account. You don't have to use it at all. If you do use it, there are no interest or finance charges, and you'll repay it with the Global Trade Dollars you earn as you trade your goods and services to other Global Trade Members.

When you use your credit line, and you earn trade credits they will go toward paying back your credit line before your account shows a positive balance. If you elect not to pay back your credit line with new sales(Trades) you will be expected to make arrangements with Global Trade to pay back your owed line of credit with cash.

Q How do I upload a Photo?
A First, prepare the image file you want to upload. You can either scan the picture or use a digital camera. Remember that the file must either be in .GIF or .JPG format. If you don't own a scanner or digital camera or if all of this is too confusing, take your pictures to a Kinko's or other service center and have them scan the images for you. Then, log in to Global Trade and click the Sell stuff option. Fill out the information (description, etc.) for the item and click the Sell button. A confirmation screen will appear. Click the icon at the top that says Upload Image. A page will appear giving you instructions on how to proceed. If you don't have an image ready at the time when you want to offer something for trade, don't worry. You can add one (or even change it) later by clicking Your Current Items, clicking the item you want to add the picture for, and then clicking the Upload Image icon.

Q What does it cost to include a photo?
A Nothing. Its absolutely Free! Remember a photo of your Business will make it more exciting to the buyer and get you more clients. Its Free! And fun to see your Business or yourself on Global Trade.

Q How do I release "PENDING CREDITS" so I can spend them?
A You must complete the sale or deliver the item before "pending" credits become available. Once you ship an item or complete the service , log in to Global Trade and click the Update Shipping Information link on the lower left. Then click the magnifying glass icon next to the Pending Item that you just shipped. Next, click the Update Shipping Information link at the top. Enter shipping information (carrier, tracking number, etc.) and then click the Update button at the bottom. Your Pending credits should now be available for spending.

Q How do I delete a Service or Item after I list it for Trade?
A Log in to Global Trade and click the Your Current Items link on the left. Then click the X icon next to the Item that you want to delete. Next, click the Delete link at the top. Your Item should now be deleted.

Q How do I make changes to my listing after I list it for Trade?
A Log in to Global Trade and click the Your Current Items link on the left. Then click the magnifying glass icon next to the Item that you want to edit. Next, click the Edit link at the top. Make your changes and then click the Update button at the bottom of the page. The listing should now be updated.
